It takes longer to get to Charlie's room than it should because Charlie keeps pushing Bartleby against walls and pulling him down--by the shirt, by the neck--to kiss him again.

Finally he lets them into his room, pulling Bartleby in behind him and laughing at the way Bartleby is kissing him, when Mister's startled mew jars Charlie out of the moment. "Oh--er--Bartleby, you know Bob--let me just--um, Bob?" He scoops up the cat. "Let's get you back to the bar, yeah?"

He kisses Bartleby quickly and runs down the stairs.

Bartleby reaches a hand to grip Charlie's erection, stroking down it. "Oh!" He takes in a sharp breath. "Mine."

Charlie gives a throaty laugh and drags his eyes open so he can watch Bartleby's hand. "Yes. Yours." He traces his hand down Bartleby's arm and carefully bends forward to place kisses on his lips and face and neck.

Bartleby tilts his head up to Charlie and runs his thumb over the head of his erection, moving his hips up as Charlie moves down.

Charlie shivers and loses his rhythmn for a moment, then laughs again. "Gonna make me come all over you if you keep doing that." He leans back again--the angle's better, he can get deeper. The muscles in his thighs are jumping with exertion.

"Go on then." Bartleby smiles, and repeats the action.

Charlie gasps and gnashes his teeth, and after a moment wraps his hand around Bartleby's--not to direct him but just to feel what he does as much as possible. He loves the sight of their fingers intertwined.

Bartleby leans up to kiss Charlie and strokes down his erection again, faster and with a tighter grip.

Charlie moans into his mouth and grabs Bartleby's shoulders with both hands, grunting, "Again," as he pushes down on Bartleby even harder.

Bartleby doesn't even bother to try heating. He's so close, and everything's heat and skin. He strokes again, twisting towards the end of action, and repeats it.

Charlie's fingers dig into Bartleby's shoulders and he groans, body shivering and arching arrthymically. His head tosses from one side to the other and he cries out, his voice rough.

He sags for a moment, looking at Bartleby with wide eyes, and then takes a deep breath and starts thrusting again, almost smiling.

Bartleby is smiling and he leans up to kiss Charlie again. It doesn't take long before his back arches, and he lets out a ragged moan.

Charlie gathers Bartleby to him, hands in his hair again, and kisses his face, his lips and eyes and chin, and whispers things like "I love you" and "you're incredible" and "I don't want to ever stop."

His body is thrumming with satisfaction and his heart feels full and sated.

Bartleby whispers back, "I love you too" and "You're amazing" and "We needn't". His eyes are heavy-lidded, and there's a small, happy smile on his face.

Finally Charlie eases his body off Bartleby's but stays kneeling over him, kissing his face and hair. "How do you feel? Do you feel okay? Everything you hoped for?" he asks with a grin, and kisses the smile on Bartleby's lips.

"Always." Bartleby tangles a hand in Charlie's hair and wraps an arm around his shoulders to tug him down beside him.

Charlie goes willingly, keeping his arms tight around Bartleby. "Is it--I mean--did you like it better than--er, otherwise?" He runs his palm lightly over Bartleby's shoulderblades--the wings didn't even enter his mind.

Bartleby's shoulders twitch. "Didn't bring the wings out because it hurts," he murmurs. "And I like it both ways, but it's definitely easier like this." He nuzzles Charlie's hair.

"Oh, my poor darling . . ." He massages Bartleby's shoulders and kisses along them. "I just want you to be satisfied--and if you are--" He kisses Bartleby's mouth.

"I am." He kisses Charlie back. "And I knew it would happen, with the wings. It gets easier after a while. It's just that they have to break though the new body's skin every time."

"Then leave them be, angel." He strokes Bartleby's cheekbone with his thumb. "No point in putting yourself through it if it hurts."

"Yeah." He nods, and then yawns a little.

"Wore you out, did I?" Charlie murmurs in amusement and pulls the duvet up over them. "Will you stay a bit?"
