Mornings are becoming Charlie's favorite time of day.

He wakes up slowly, warm to his bones, his nose pressed to Darien's back. He moves his lips slowly across Darien's shoulders and kisses his arm. "Y'awake?"

"Must be in my other pants."

He laughs.

"One, that is not what I thought the tube you kept in your pants was and two, you're not wearing any pants, genius."

Charlie sighs and says, "Darien. I just had my tongue up your ass. Do you want me to brush my teeth before I kiss you or not?"

"Well, if you put it that way."

He nods to the bathroom before sitting up to kiss Charlie on the top of the head. Then he stands and heads for the bathroom.

"Come on, babe. We can both get all squeaky."

"Oo," Charlie says in anticipation and follows Darien into the bathroom. "Gonna wash out my mouth with soap?"

"Didn't we just have a whole discussion about toothpaste?"

Headtilt.

"Juuust checking." He waggles his tongue.

It could be argued that is one of Charlie's best features.

Charlie's best feature, in Darien's mind, is being Charlie.

He rolls his eyes and holds out Charlie's toothpaste for him along with his tooth brush. Then he pulls out his own toothpast and gives his teeth a scrub.

Charlie cleans his teeth, watching Darien out of the corner of his eye. The words pounding into the tile keep running through his mind.

Darien quirks an eyebrow at Charlie.

Maybe he remembers those words.

Charlie spits out the toothpaste, rinses his mouth with a handful of water, and bares his teeth. "Squeaky clean." He runs his tongue over his teeth.

Darien spits out his toothpaste, rinses his mouth out with a cup he'd left there for that purpose, and then grins.

"See, uh, I'm seeing the clean but I think I'm going to have to do something to help with the squeaky."

"Whatever could that be," Charlie says with an innocent expression.

A few of the canisters are knocked to the floor as Darien presses Charlie up against the counter. The length of his body rests against Charlie's skin before he dips his head down to being a line of kisses and licks, nips and suction along Charlie's flesh.

"Oh . . ." Charlie breathes and grasps Darien's head. After a moment he laughs and removes his hands from Darien's hair.

"Mustn't mess up the 'do."

The hands are firmly grasped in Darien's hands and put exactly where they'd been.

"If you can't touch me somewhere, I don't want it on me."

He runs his teeth against a nipple.

Charlie combs his fingers through Darien's hair, smiling, his head thrown back.

And Darien continues his descent, making it a point to kiss his way down both hips before ghosting over the obvious and continueing down Charlie's thighs.

This gets a throaty chuckle from Charlie--he spreads his legs and arches his body, not hinting, oh no, his hands still in Darien's hair.

"Turnabout's fair play, Charlie."

Though it's not really fair that Darien's reaching back with one hand to start turning the water in the shower on.

Charlie's voice is low. "Retaliation is one of my favorite things."

"Revenge is a dish best served...wet."

And he tugs Charlie towards the shower.

Charlie laughs and gets under the spray, pulling Darien to him. He leans up to kiss him.

And Darien pulls him close to kiss him back.

"Love you, baby."

"Love you," Charlie answers, smiling, and then grabs the soap. "Wash your back? It's such a very nice back. I didn't get to finish my tour."
