After long talks with Liam and David--and Seth's communing with the strange furry beastie from the woods--it's a relief to finally get the baby down and have the closest thing to his own time Charlie gets lately.
He has a book--on childcare, of course--and the door open between Claire's room, where the baby's sleeping, and the sitting room. But mostly he's watching the night outside the window and thinking.
He's cute when he thinks. Shh, don't tell him or he'll get all embarressed.
