bloodyrockgodI'm legitimately employed, more or less. Much to the manager's
(owner's? I'm not sure) reluctance, but here we are.
Played my bit of a tune for Penny. And she kissed me. Well, she kissed
me first and then I played for her, and she liked it.
Got to know the French kids a bit. Gavroche and little Meg, the
dancer. And talked to Moirtaine again. Came thisclose to telling her,
but not in so many words, you know.
I feel . . . okay. Still cold. Still unsteady. Still pukey. Still
can't sleep. Still a bit like nightmares are nibbling on the edges of
my vision. Maybe I don't feel so okay.
And I don't have a word for tomorrow.
